About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week position in Santa Rosa, California. The shift is 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Operate equipment and perform technical aspects of cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures
  • Monitor patient conditions during procedures and report any changes to the physician
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Experience in a similar healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited training program in cardiac catheterization technology
  • Current CPR certification

Skills

  • Proficiency with medical equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
