About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a local contract nursing job in West Islip, New York.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in cardiac cath lab preferred
- Knowledge of cardiac cath lab equipment and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficient in computer systems and documentation
