Local Contract Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $70-82 per hour

About the role

Medical Center in Puyallup, Washington is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 14-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Must be RCIS or ARRT certified.
• Must have ACLS and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program preferred.
• Current registration as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

• Proficient in operating catheterization laboratory equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
