About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week, 36-hour per week position in Rockford, Illinois. Shifts are 9 hours, days.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Assist with interventional procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization
- Document patient information accurately
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in Illinois
- Experience in performing diagnostic catheterization procedures
- Knowledge of interventional procedures
- Proficiency with medical equipment used in catheterization labs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited training program in Cath Lab Technology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
