Local Contract Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $59-69 per hour
About the role
Hospital in south central Pennsylvania needs help in the cathlab with interventional radiology procedures. Great location close to Baltimore and Philadelphia. PA license takes 7-10 days for completion. Many things to do and see in the area. Catch a pro football game, take a tour of the Hershey Factory, or a drive through some of the historical cities of America's beginnings.
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Assist with patient care and preparation for procedures
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the cath lab
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
Requirements
- PALS and ACLS certifications
- Sedation experience
- Current PA license (processing time estimated at 7-10 days)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited medical technologist program
- Experience in a similar healthcare setting preferred
