Local Contract Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $53-62 per hour

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week duration at 40 hours per week, working 10-hour shifts during the day.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician
• Assist with interventional radiology (IR) procedures as needed
• Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-procedure education and setup of equipment
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition during procedures
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in Connecticut
• Experience with interventional radiology procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized training program in cardiac catheterization technology
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with hospital information systems
