About the role

We are seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist in Lewiston, Idaho. This position offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and a duration of 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures
  • Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization labs
  • Document patient information accurately
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Experience in a similar healthcare setting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a recognized training program in cardiac catheterization technology
  • Current CPR certification

Skills

  • Proficiency with medical equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks effectively
