Local Contract Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - $41-48 per hour
About the role
We are seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist in Asheville, North Carolina. This position offers 36 hours per week, with a shift of 10 hours, days.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization laboratories
- Monitor patient conditions during procedures and report any changes to physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in North Carolina
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited training program in cardiac catheterization technology
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
