Duration and schedule

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs) and electrophysiology studies (EPS), inserting specialized catheters into the heart to measure electrical activity
- Assist physicians during procedures to correct arrhythmias, including cardiac ablation
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms
- Help operate equipment during procedures
