Local Contract Advanced Care RN - $61 per hour
Local contract nursing position in Urbana, Illinois for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN).
About the Role
Telemetry nurses care for patients by using medical equipment to monitor blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen level, breathing rate, and other vital signs. Commonly, these patients have recently undergone surgery.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret vital signs using telemetry equipment.
- Provide care for patients recently undergoing surgery.
Schedule
- Start Date: 09/07/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts, nights
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Additional financial incentives include:
- $600 travel bonus
- Extra hour bonus — earn an additional hourly bonus for working over your weekly contracted hours
- Guaranteed stipend if facility calls you off
