Local Class A Driver (Night Shift)

About the role

MedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers that delivers lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 1,900+ trucks featuring newer equipment, and we manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally, providing 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States. The Driver plays a critical role in building positive relationships with customers by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Abide by Medline’s safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed and performing safety checks.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to customers—addressing questions, needs, and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with the dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to the delivery route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued use.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Class A CDL; licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
• Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $26.75 - $38.75 per hour. The actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline ensures compliance with applicable minimum wage or salary thresholds.

Schedule

Drivers are home daily with local routes, supporting work-life balance.
