Local Class A CDL Truck Driver

About the role

Delivery Driver responsible for safely transporting and delivering products to customers, unloading goods according to specifications, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Unload products manually or with equipment in all weather conditions, placing items in designated storage areas.
• Complete all paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices, adhering to company and government guidelines.
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed, maintaining proper temperatures and preventing contamination.
• Develop positive customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; tractor trailer driving experience preferred or completion of a driving school.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, insurable to operate a vehicle.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting/delivery practices.
• Ability to operate tractor-trailers, read and communicate in English, perform basic math, and solve problems independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, handle product, climb in/out of vehicles, and work in varied environments.

Work Environment: Occasional exposure to weather extremes, moving mechanical parts, confined spaces, and moderate noise. Physical demands include lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required.
