Waste Connections of Iowa is seeking a safety-conscious CDL Route Driver to join their growing team in Des Moines, Iowa. They offer training and equipment for those interested in pursuing a career as a CDL driver, including payment for obtaining the CDL.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle on designated routes
• Pick up and transport waste and recycling materials
• Maintain accurate records of pick-ups and deliveries
• Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Provide excellent customer service
• Report any issues or concerns to management

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• CDL Class B
• Preferred: Clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication skills
