Local CDL Driver - $2,500 sign on bonus

About the role

Handle all local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook. Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles making about 3 routes per shift. Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van for 8-10 hour shifts.

Requirements

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years (a higher score will be reviewed)
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently

Qualifications

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer preferred

Pay

Hourly Pay $27.00/hr with $2,500 sign on bonus (majority paid at 30 days, second portion paid at 90 days).

Schedule

1st Shift Monday - Friday 5:00pm start time. Location: Northampton, PA 18067.

Work environment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a vehicle cab for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
• The noise level in the work environment depends on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
