About the role
TransForce is seeking a CDL B Driver to support local operations based in Harrisburg, PA. This is a temp to hire position.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday; 6:30 AM start time
Pay
- $24.00 Per Hour
Route & equipment
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Paper
- Equipment: Automatic trucks
- Handling: Touch Freight – unload with pallet jack
Minimum requirements
- License: CDL B
- Experience: 1 year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Responsibilities
- Safely operate class B vehicles on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including unloading with pallet jack, dolly and some by hand
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
