Local CDL B Driver - $24/HR

About the role

We are looking for a reliable CDL B Driver in Indianapolis, Indiana, offering $24.00 per hour. This position allows you to be home daily with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, making local and regional deliveries.

Job Location: Indianapolis, Indiana. Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire. Transmission Type: Automatic.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot straight truck.
• Drive from the facility to the distribution center for live loading before making customer deliveries.
• Deliver heating and air conditioning parts, equipment, and complete HVAC units.
• Unload freight at customer locations using lift gate, pallet jack, two-wheel dolly, and hand unloading as required.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete delivery documentation and maintain excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Valid CDL B
• Minimum of 9 months of recent, verifiable commercial driving experience
• Ability to safely operate a 26-foot straight truck
• Comfortable with physical work, including frequent pushing, pulling, and unloading
• Strong safety record and dependable attendance
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour. Home Daily Schedule: Monday–Friday. Shift: First Shift – 6:00 AM start. Estimated weekly pay: $1000 Per Week.
