Local CDL A Truck Driver - Full-Time

About the role

Class A truck driver responsible for local delivery of merchandise, ensuring safe and timely transportation while adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver countertop and flooring materials efficiently and securely.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and cargo securement using blocks, ties, straps, and binders.
• Operate vehicles safely, maintain alertness, and communicate effectively.
• Adapt to changing conditions, prioritize customer service, and work independently.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Class A Driver’s License with at least 1 year of heavy-duty driving experience.
• Comfortable with local deliveries and multiple stops.
• Completion of driving tests and DOT pre-employment requirements.
• Safety-conscious with accurate logbook maintenance and understanding of delivery documents.
• Experience with tablets preferred; bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs, carry 30 lbs, generate 137 lbs of push/pull force, and work at heights and varied positions, including climbing ladders and working at elevated heights.

Compensation

Hourly pay from $25.75 to $28.75, with overtime and potential annual earnings exceeding $82,400.
