About the role

Local CDL A Truck Drivers operate on local routes with preloaded trucks and palletized foodservice deliveries. This position includes an extra board schedule, touch-freight, and daily overtime after 8 hours worked. Drivers are paid weekly and are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle and company equipment.
• Courteously deliver products to local customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
• Securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as electric pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Unload and deliver products to customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1+ years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent military driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Ability to lift products from 25 to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 170 pounds.
• Interstate license required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

USD $33.40/Hr. - USD $34.40/Hr.
