Local CDL A Truck Driver - $1200 Per Week

Job Location: SLC, Utah – Local route, temp-to-hire assignment with automatic transmission.

Pay

• $28 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross: $1,200

Schedule may vary; home daily.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor/trailer in accordance with company policies and DOT guidelines.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on the truck and trailer.
• Secure cargo on the trailer and make deliveries according to the manifest.
• Interact with customers to open, close, and secure trailer curtains and/or doors.
• Obtain customer signatures on proof of delivery and submit to the dispatcher.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the truck and trailer.

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license.
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• At least 21 years old.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, or move up to 175 lbs.
• Current DOT certified medical card required.
• Light-touch handling.
