Job Summary
Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a driver to deliver products to stores. This position requires a CDL A license and a clean MVR. Local deliveries and home every night are part of the responsibilities.Job Responsibilities
- Transport block, mortar, and other materials to job sites in a safe manner
- Receive invoices, directions, and special instructions from the dispatcher and follow them carefully
- Perform pre-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle and report any concerns immediately
- Operate the tractor-trailer/vehicle according to state and federal laws and safety regulations
- Maintain and report on problems with assigned equipment, product quality, customer satisfaction, and traffic
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to operate a gas-powered delivery trailer safely and efficiently
- Experience with forklift
- Must have a CDL A
- Must have at least 2 years of current CDL experience
- Clean MVR
- Detail-oriented
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of the product for quality assurance
- Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Required DOT yearly physical
- Employee is frequently required to climb
