About the role

Drive for BlueLinx with home every night and weekend, first shift hours, flatbed and curtain side trailers (no tarping), and new safe and reliable equipment. The position offers a guaranteed pay of $270.08 per day.

What You'll Deliver

• Properly secure loads (no tarping – only strapping)
• Double/Triple endorsement preferred
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 21 years of age
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years
• Safe Driving Record
• Ability to secure loads
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
