About the Role
Join Gordon Food Service as a Local CDL A Delivery Driver, operating a 10-speed manual vehicle from our Orlando, FL location (744 Central Florida Pkwy). Deliver essential food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities while building customer relationships. Enjoy day shifts, local routes, and daily home time.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food products to various customers, including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities.
- Unload cases weighing up to 100 lbs using a ramp and two-wheeler.
- Operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
- Follow routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- Class A CDL License required.
- Food and/or beverage delivery experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Successfully pass a drug test (including marijuana) and background check.
- Clean driving record, meeting DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
- Registration through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with electronic consent.
Pay
- Drivers average $90K/year.
- Weekly minimum guaranteed: $1,100 per week.
- Daily base pay, plus component pay.
- Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered.

Schedule
- Relief driver: Monday to Saturday.
- Flexible start time between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, working until the route is finished.
