About the role

Wiegel Tool Works is seeking a Local 26' Straight Truck Route Driver (Class B, Non-CDL) to join their team. This position operates within the Wood Dale, IL area.

Responsibilities

• Drive a local 26-foot straight truck to deliver products to customers within the assigned route.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Valid Class B driver's license.
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with GPS navigation systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test.

Skills
