Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards
  • Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors
  • Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes trash
  • Maintains efficient communication on two-way radio to ensure that tasks are prioritized
  • Maintains lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area to assure they are clean, neat and free of all rubbish and debris
  • Cleans and maintains public restrooms in a neat and orderly fashion to provide fresh and attractive facilities for guests
  • Restrooms must also be checked on once an hour to assure they remain neat and clean
  • Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays
  • Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed
  • Performs various other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

  • Minimum of High School education
  • Minimum of one (1) year in Housekeeping role
