Responsibilities
- Process RTL, Bridge, Renovation, Ground-Up Construction, and DSCR loans in alignment with company guidelines and investor requirements
- Review and verify borrower, guarantor, and entity documentation (credit, income, bank statements, title, insurance, leases, corporate docs)
- Ensure all required items are received, complete, and compliant before underwriting and closing
- Closely coordinate with underwriters, originators, and closers to maintain loan file accuracy and expedite turnaround times
- Track and clear conditions efficiently while maintaining proactive communication with internal teams and external partners
- Review appraisals, BPOs, construction budgets, and rehab scopes for completeness and accuracy
- Maintain meticulous file organization, ensuring all documentation is properly labeled and archived in the LOS
- Provide exceptional service to borrowers and brokers through clear, timely communication
- Identify and escalate issues or inconsistencies that could affect loan eligibility or timeline
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience processing private lending or non-QM loans
- Hands-on experience with RTL (Bridge, Renovation, Ground-Up Construction) and DSCR loans
- Experience filling out a HUD-1 and/or settlement statement
- Business entity documentation experience
- Strong understanding of business-purpose loan documentation and compliance standards
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple loans simultaneously
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with loan origination systems (experience with LendingWise a plus)
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
