Responsibilities
- Handle telephone inquiries and research requests from internal and external customers (e.g., loan payoffs, payment history requests, billing disputes, and interest calculations) and perform appropriate follow-up tasks including ongoing communication with the requestor
- Handle Credit Bureau disputes within the allotted time frame
- Prepare letters to customers as appropriate
- Complete loan information requests from the government or other financial institutions
- Process all return mail for the entire Loan Operations department
- Cooperate with other members of the department to achieve departmental goals
- Other related duties as assigned or directed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Professionalism
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work accurately in a time-sensitive environment
- Excellent computer and typing skills
- Research and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Prior experience in related field preferred
