Responsibilities

  • Handle telephone inquiries and research requests from internal and external customers (e.g., loan payoffs, payment history requests, billing disputes, and interest calculations) and perform appropriate follow-up tasks including ongoing communication with the requestor
  • Handle Credit Bureau disputes within the allotted time frame
  • Prepare letters to customers as appropriate
  • Complete loan information requests from the government or other financial institutions
  • Process all return mail for the entire Loan Operations department
  • Cooperate with other members of the department to achieve departmental goals
  • Other related duties as assigned or directed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Professionalism
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work accurately in a time-sensitive environment
  • Excellent computer and typing skills
  • Research and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Prior experience in related field preferred
