Loan Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Educate borrowers on available loan products and financing options.
• Collect, review, and organize financial documents required for loan applications.
• Absorb and assist customers through the loan origination process from application to closing.
• Communicate regularly with borrowers, processors, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze basic financial information, credit reports, and income documentation.
• Ensure loan files meet company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Follow up on leads generated through marketing, referrals, and company partnerships.
• Maintain accurate records within the company’s CRM and loan origination systems.
• Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities.

Compensation

$50K year 1 forecast, $90-100K year 2. Candidates make .09% commission per loan, average loan at the firm is $450K.
