Loan Officer
Job Summary
We're seeking a Loan Officer who can guide clients through the mortgage process, build strong relationships, and manage a successful loan pipeline. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of recent mortgage loan origination experience, a current MLO license, and a proven track record of success.
About the Role
As a Loan Officer, you'll be responsible for managing the entire loan lifecycle, from application to closing, ensuring clients feel confident and informed throughout the process. Your role involves building relationships with clients and referral partners, staying up-to-date on market trends and compliance requirements, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners
- Manage loan applications from start to finish
- Set clear expectations and deliver exceptional service
- Stay informed on market trends, product updates, and compliance requirements
- Guide clients through the mortgage process with confidence and clarity
- Manage a consistent loan pipeline effectively
- Interpret complex financial data to make sound lending decisions
- Communicate effectively and build trust with clients and partners
- Solve problems strategically and efficiently
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of consecutive, recent experience in mortgage loan origination
- Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in good standing with the NMLS for applicable state(s)
- Proven track record of successful loan origination supported by an established referral network
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret financial data
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- Advanced organizational abilities and strategic problem-solving approach
