About the role
We're seeking a Loan Officer who excels in building relationships and delivering results. Your role involves guiding clients through the mortgage process, managing applications, and ensuring a smooth closing experience. You'll also need to stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners
- Guide clients through the mortgage process from application to closing
- Set clear expectations and deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Stay informed on market trends, product updates, and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent, consecutive experience in mortgage loan origination
- Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in good standing with the NMLS for applicable state(s)
- Proven track record of successful loan origination with an established referral network
- Effective management of a consistent loan pipeline
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and make sound lending decisions
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- Advanced organizational abilities and strategic problem-solving approach
