Essential Functions
- Absorbs responsibility for processing loan requests and making sound judgments on granting loans to members, within the limits of established policies, legal requirements, and delegated authority.
- Prepares loan documents, disburses loans, and files/maintains loan information as needed.
- Denies loans that do not meet loan approval policies and mails the appropriate notices.
- Processes automobile and boat titles and submits them to the State of Alabama.
- Maintains current titles and UCC-1s on existing loans.
- Makes sure collateral protection insurance on secured loans is up-to-date.
- Processes collection actions on past-due loans, VISA's, and overdrawn share accounts.
- Documents all in-house collection activity.
- Determines if a collection account needs to be placed with a collection agency, repossession agency, or attorney as needed.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime hours as required.
