About the role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, dependable professional to join us as a Loan Funding & Boarding Specialist II. In this role, you’ll be a key part of the team behind the scenes, helping ensure loans are funded accurately, efficiently, and with the high level of care our customers and teammates count on.

Responsibilities

  • Process requests to fund and fee request loans in a timely fashion while ensuring that all policy and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Process general ledger entries, complete wire transfers, daily loan settlements, and balance accounts as needed with great accuracy.
  • Perform all funding processes for the Capital Investments group.
  • Interpret and translate Consumer and Basic Commercial loan documents for entry to the Jack Henry Silverlake operating system with great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively with lenders and administrative assistants to efficiently resolve discrepancies with funding and fee requests, documentation discrepancies, scanning issues, and other issues that arise.
  • Reply to or refer to the proper team all lender, customer, and financial institution inquiries regarding servicing issues for commercial loans.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position, including the Univest Code of Conduct.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of bank loan operations experience.
  • Excellent customer service, written/verbal communication, and telephone skills.
  • Advanced comprehension of mortgage, commercial, and consumer loans.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex loan contracts.
  • Ability to perform loan accounting computations, including interest accruals, payment amortizations, and billing calculations.
  • Ability to work independently, organize, prioritize, and enter data quickly and accurately to meet deadlines, including end-of-month activity.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Advanced PC and word processing skills required to utilize varying proprietary Windows-based software applications.
  • Familiarity with Jack Henry, Synergy, Encompass, and Salesforce/nCino preferred.

Pay

The salary for this position ranges from $17.50 to $22 per hour.
