About the role

nbkc bank is looking for a detail-driven, quality-focused Loan Documentation & Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure every loan is accurate, compliant, and ready to empower customers and partners. As part of the Loan Administration team, you’ll play a key role in lending operations from pre-closing through post-closing, collaborating with internal teams across commercial and consumer lending and supporting third-party lending services.

This role is @Flex, offering a hybrid work arrangement both in the office and at home.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-closing loan document review
  • Conduct post-closing loan review
  • Perform QA checks for Lending-as-a-Service partnerships to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Review pre-closing and final documents for DMI HELOC loans and ensure proper filing
  • Verify data input accuracy, including daily review of interest rate inputs and general ledger/internal DDA balancing
  • Monitor and reconcile internal escrow DDA account
  • Prepare loan documentation
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to all bank policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or consumer banking
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of loan documentation, compliance regulations, and banking systems
  • Familiarity with HMDA reporting requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in loan administration, documentation review, or quality assurance within a financial institution
  • Understanding of UCC filings, CIP requirements, and beneficial ownership regulations
  • Experience with banking systems such as LaserPro, nCino, or Phoenix
