This role is a developing professional position that integrates in-depth specialty knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. It requires analytical thinking, data analysis skills, and the ability to communicate complex information systematically. The role has a moderate but direct impact on the business's core activities, with quality and timeliness of service affecting both the individual's team and related teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage preparing and reviewing loan documentation while providing support for various tasks related to the loan process.
  • Independently process and close loans within a complex loan operations environment.
  • Apply a solid understanding of industry and business standards for loan documentation processes.
  • Resolve most loan-related problems independently, with latitude to address complex issues using expertise to interpret policies, guidelines, or processes.
  • Apply judgment when interpreting data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to management.
  • Make resolution recommendations based on identified trends and facts.
  • Design and analyze complex reports related to loan documentation processes to meet management requirements and support/control activities.
  • Participate in and support the implementation of projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Interpret data and make recommendations for launching new products/services and upgrading platforms for loan documentation/processing functions.
  • Demonstrate understanding of loan documentation processes to identify policy gaps and formulate policies that streamline work processes.
  • Minimize risk to the bank by understanding procedural requirements, providing solutions to reduce errors, and adhering to audit and control policies.
  • Serve as a checker for systematic transactions as a last line of defense.
  • Escalate and resolve all inquiries and issues related to loan documentation in a timely manner.
  • Apply a solid understanding of how the team integrates with others to accomplish sub-unit objectives.
  • Provide informal guidance and on-the-job training to new team members.
  • Work closely with the team and internal stakeholders to meet client needs.
  • Interact directly with external customers to disseminate or explain information.
  • Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, considering the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge of business processes, systems, and tools used in the loan process.
  • Understanding of loan processes, procedures, products, and services.
  • General awareness of managing, preparing, and reviewing loan documentation.
  • Ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues.
  • Reasonable awareness of risk types, policies, control measures, and processes.
  • Compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adherence to policies.
  • LOANIQ experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.

Pay

$61,870.00 - $86,330.00 (full-time salary range).
