Loan Development Officer

Solicitation and Business Development

• Solicit and build new business with special emphasis on loan growth.
• Take and review loan applications.
• Make loans within authority, obtain proper recommendations for loans over their authority, and document loans and credit files.
• Actively promote loans and other bank products to prospective, new, and existing customers.

Account Management and Collection

• Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Monitor accounts and collect loans past due.

Teamwork and Compliance

• Work well with others and contribute to team efforts.
• Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations as applicable.

Technical Skills and Professionalism

• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Complete all other duties or special projects as assigned.
• A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
• A proven work history of business development is strongly preferred.
