Loan Center Consultant
About the role
Scott Credit Union is hiring a Loan Center Consultant in Edwardsville, IL to provide exceptional service and guidance to members throughout the consumer lending process. The role involves providing direct support for both online and mobile loan applications, performing prompt and accurate processing of member loan requests, analyzing potential lending and cross-selling opportunities, and representing the credit union in a positive and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct support for both online and mobile loan applications.
- Performs prompt, efficient, and accurate processing of member loan requests, including data input, documenting loans, and booking designated unsecured loans.
- Analyzes potential lending and cross-selling opportunities involved in each lending situation to further assist the borrower and increase the credit union's lending portfolio.
- Accounts for meeting individual sales and lending goals through the telephone channels.
- Operates computer to accurately update member account transactions and information.
- Affixes to the virtual application processing during peak times, or when designated by management team.
- Processes Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) applications through the telephone channel.
- Responsible for telephone loan queue, answering general loan questions, processing ACH payments, and completing of reoccurring payments.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED. Experience working in a financial institution or call center. Personal computer experience to include Microsoft Windows applications.
Qualifications
Detail-oriented, knowledgeable in consumer lending, skilled at managing loan documentation, and skilled at providing a high level of member support.
Skills
