Responsibilities

  • Supports Lending Officers by: processing account transfers, scanning/synergizing tax returns, creating electronic files, maintaining financial trackers.
  • Preparation of Note/Collateral Modifications, preparing electronic files, gathering information for processing, preparing/submitting Modification requests, corresponding with title companies/attorneys for documentation, complete/close request Orders property searches, flood certification, credit reports, appraisals and other needed information to support Modification underwriting, approval and closing conditions.
  • Manages daily incoming and outgoing mail within the Lending Department.
  • Prints and distributes reports to Lenders.
  • Updates weekly loans in process reporting.
  • Manages the weekly late loan report and Lending mailbox.
  • Answers and directs incoming calls to the loan department.
  • Maintains calendars, schedules appointments, arranges meetings/luncheons, and orders office supplies.
  • Monitors Auction sale website and communicates upcoming sales to the Lenders.
  • Back-up to the other loan assistants for coverage while on PTO, sick or leave of absence.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

  • Must enjoy speaking to customers via phone or in person.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe and Outlook.
  • Strong reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills.
  • Advanced ability to analyze, research, and interpret data.
