Loadout Operator

About the role

This full-time position is within our Ag & Trading enterprise, operating on the 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for loadout and unloading of bulk materials, including trucks and rail cars, using scales, pumps, conveyors, and mobile equipment.
• Create scale tickets, collect product samples, and supervise tank inventory using computer systems for data input and recording.
• Inspect facility buildings, grounds, and equipment to perform light maintenance and repairs; assess immediate and long-term maintenance needs.
• Solve issues independently with minimal guidance.
• Interact regularly with peers, management, merchants, and customers to improve facility operations and foster teamwork.
• Take initiative in decision-making within your scope and escalate issues as needed.
• Provide high-level customer service.
• Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently problem-solve and resolve issues within your role.
• Ability to learn computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, and SAP.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust, loud noise) with personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) via ladders and/or stairs.
• Physical ability to perform duties including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and follow up effectively.
• High attention to detail.
• High school diploma/GED or a minimum of three years equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic experience troubleshooting mechanical components and systems.
• Experience working in a production-related environment.
• Experience in truck or rail car loading/unloading.

Skills

Pay

$26.11/hour (starting rate).
