Loadout Operator 2nd Shift

About the role

Covia is seeking a dynamic 3rd Shift Loadout Operator at its Junction City, GA location. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the operations team.

Responsibilities

• Operating Skid Steer / Track Mobile / Forklift
• Loading railcars, trucks, and silos
• Operating process equipment
• Recording necessary data for Quality, Environmental, and Safety purposes
• Maintaining plant grounds and equipment
• Lifting up to 100 pounds
• Using a Car Puller / Track Mobile to place railroad cars
• Loading/unloading liquid bulk tanker trucks
• Using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Handling and storing chemicals safely
• Performing general clean-up tasks

Requirements

• Basic computer skills (email, Windows, Office)
• Experience operating fork trucks, pallet jacks, track mobiles, skid steers
• Ability to use hand tools and trades-type tools
• Willingness to work rotating shifts or stay over shifts as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• At least one year of related experience preferred
