Loading Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

About the Role

We are seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently, safely, and accurately build and load pallets of products for delivery to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build pallets by verifying product location and quantity on build sheets.
• Use forklift to load pallets into trucks, ensuring correct placement as specified.
• Follow safety policies and wear protective equipment.
• Stack and build pallets for stability and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work status and issues.
• Complete safety checklists, paperwork, and build sheets accurately.
• Maintain regular attendance, work overtime as needed, and perform related duties.
• Notify restockers of stock outages and assist in warehouse organization.
• Manage truck parking to facilitate efficient loading.
• Train new employees in forklift operations.
• Handle, stock, and organize alcoholic products within the warehouse.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6–12 months forklift experience (food/beverage experience preferred).
• Knowledge of warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment and obtain forklift license.
• Perform basic math and communicate effectively.
