Loader/Relief Driver
About the role
We are hiring a Local CDL Driver in Tulsa, OK. Pay begins at $26/hour with eligibility for Quarterly Bonuses. Referral Bonus. Responsibilities
- Load and unload cylinders from delivery trucks and move them to fill racks or storage areas.
- Load pallets with full cylinders and place them in designated storage.
- Prepare trucks for delivery using store order sheets and manifests.
- Safely operate a forklift, performing daily pre-trip inspections.
- Assist inside the store at the dock, front counter, or over the phone as needed.
- Drive trucks over established routes to deliver gases and hard goods.
- Perform non-route deliveries to meet urgent customer needs.
- Sell products and services to new and existing customers, informing them of new offerings.
- Collect payments, make change, and record transactions accurately on receipts.
- Listen to and resolve customer service complaints effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 18 years old (or meet minimum age for CDL requirements).
- At least one year of Class A or B CDL driving experience.
- Current Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements.
- Forklift Certified or able to become certified.
- Registered for the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
Qualifications
- Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals.
- Language: Ability to read safety rules and instructions; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Interpersonal: Ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse personalities.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work occasional overtime and weekends.
- Basic Computer (SAP) and Email skills.

Safety & Compliance
- Comply with all DOT, OSHA, EPA, and FDA regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a drug-free status and participate in random DOT alcohol and drug testing.
- Attend all scheduled safety meetings.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and clean the interior of delivery vehicles.
