Loader Operator/Water Truck Driver - Castle Rock

About the role

The Loader Operator/Water Truck Driver operates a loader to load and unload trucks, supply raw materials to bins and hoppers, and manage stockpiles, as well as operates a water truck to perform dust suppression in accordance with customer requirements and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance, including greasing, oiling, fueling, and cleaning
• Operates loader to load/unload trucks, maintain stockpiles, and supply bins and hoppers with raw materials
• Operates water truck for dust suppression, including filling tank and washing roads and work areas
• Maintains clean and safe work areas and equipment
• Maintains communication with dispatch and team members
• Supports emergency washout or cleanup as needed
• Complies with all safety regulations and customer requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge, Experience)

• Experience operating loader and/or water truck preferred
• CDL Class A license with air brakes and tanker endorsement required
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Valid driver’s license
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate a water truck
• Ability to lift to 50lbs
• Basic Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to communicate via radio and ability to read and write
• Ability to sit, stand, walk and work outside for extended periods of time and lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work at elevated heights and have good eye-hand coordination
