Loader Operator - Shallotte

About the role

Operate big equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement at SRM Concrete's plants.

Responsibilities

• Take the wheel of front-end loaders and other heavy equipment.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
• Work with your crew and production team to keep operations on schedule.
• Check and report equipment issues to ensure safety.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Count inventory and alert the team to stock levels.
• Share ideas for process improvements and contribute to team discussions.
• Be available to assist with any task, from routine maintenance to challenging jobs.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to learn and work hard
• Physical ability to handle the job in various weather conditions
• Experience operating similar machinery is helpful but not required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings

Pay

• Hourly pay with overtime after 8 hours

• Local work, home daily
• Plant is closed every Sunday
