Loader Operator

About the Role

Join SRM Concrete as a Loader Operator and be part of a team that keeps our operations running smoothly. You’ll operate powerful front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant, ensuring our concrete production never stops.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and heavy equipment to move materials like sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to keep materials flowing.
• Collaborate with your crew and production team to maintain schedules.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts, reporting any needed repairs.
• Follow all safety protocols, wear required gear, and help maintain a safe work environment.
• Keep your work area clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with inventory counts to prevent material shortages.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve operations.
• Support teammates and assist with tough jobs as needed.

Requirements

• Experience operating loaders or other heavy machinery is a plus, but we provide training for hardworking individuals.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Commitment to safety for yourself and your team.
• Ability to perform equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical ability to work in all weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.
