Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loaders and other equipment to load and unload log trucks, dry kilns, and by‑products.
• Support log yard and stave yard operations, including feeding the stave mill and pulling log tags.
• Assist with inventory handling, environmental cleanup activities, and general yard maintenance.
• Partner with log buyers, kiln personnel, and operations teams to support production needs.
• Maintain safe work practices and contribute to an organized, efficient work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or outdoor work environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work safely in a physically demanding environment.
• Preferred: Two or more years of experience operating a wheel loader or other heavy equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively work with team members across different departments.
• Physical requirements: ability to operate industrial equipment as required; lift, carry, push, and/or move objects up to 50 pounds; stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, squat, and work outdoors for extended periods.

1st shift (6 am‑4:30 pm) and 2nd shift (11 am‑9:30 pm), Monday‑Thursday
