About the role
A warehouse loader ensures products are moved within the warehouse safely and efficiently, performing loading/unloading of route trucks manually or by forklift operation. Reporting location: Midland, Tx.
Responsibilities
- Ensure warehouse standards are upheld by working in a safe and professional manner
- Load and unload route delivery trucks and tractor trailers by hand and forklift
- Palletize products for loading
- Operate warehouse equipment such as Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks
- Take care of products through proper handling and storage
- Ensure inventory is properly maintained
- Maintain good housekeeping and warehouse standards
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Move delivery trucks for loading and unloading and perform truck refueling
- Handle administrative responsibilities (bay mapping, inventory tasks, damaged product counts, and allowing housekeeping entry during their scheduled time)
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record (no major driving offenses in the last 3 years)
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs. during the work shift
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Warehouse/forklift experience is preferred, but training is available for new associates
Pay
$22/hour with a 6%–8% shift differential for applicable hours worked.
Schedule
Sunday – Thursday (Fridays dependent on business needs). Start time: 7pm until done.
