About the Role

This position is responsible for the pulling, picking, and loading of all outbound shipments and the unloading and movement of all inbound deliveries to the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operates a propane sit-down forklift.
• Sorts shipments for destination and groups merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order.
• Loads finished materials for transport and unloads raw materials.
• Moves products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Inspects the forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety.
• Verifies piece counts on each pallet and compares to label.
• Handles material for all products.
• Follows shipping work orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year previous forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Shipping and Receiving.

• Highly motivated with good work ethics.
• Must demonstrate safe working practices and possess great attention to detail.
• Team player able to follow instructions from management and peers.
• Ability to learn and operate new equipment.
• Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers).
• Strong problem-solving and math skills with the capability to calculate square footage and batch size.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment, loading dock, and driveways.
• Exposure to all weather conditions.

Location

This role is performed onsite at our facility located at 6198 W Airport Blvd, Greenfield, IN 46140.

Pay

An hourly rate of $23.80.
