About the role
Performs essential job functions as directed under close supervision.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently and carefully place customer parts onto, into, or out of baskets, tubs, racks, or other containers as required.
- Immediately brings any unusual problem, irregularity, or concern to the HIP Operator, Supervisor, or management.
- Promotes safety and good housekeeping.
- Must be aware of environmental concerns caused by the process and report deficiencies to the supervisor.
- Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
- This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers' inventory and, as such, will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage.
- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.
Qualifications
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- May be required to work overtime or any shifts, including weekends.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
Physical & Mental Demands
- Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment.
- Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions.
- Ability to lift up to 35/lbs.
- May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
- Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
- Ability to hear in person and via phone.
Pay & Benefits Information
The hourly pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law.
This role is eligible for additional compensation, including shift differential, etc., if applicable.
