Load Picker - Sun-Wed -12 Hour Shifts (Goodlettsville)

About the role

This position is responsible for moving product throughout the facility and loading product for shipment. The role requires operating powered industrial equipment, maintaining continuous product flow, and supporting production operations while maintaining a safe work environment and following all Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a battery-powered forklift to move finished products throughout the facility.
• Place and retrieve finished boxed product from coolers, trailers, and production areas.
• Break down and stack products on wooden pallets to create complete pallet loads.
• Transfer finished product between pallets to build full and accurate pallet configurations.
• Maintain product flow to support production and shipping operations.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with company dress and safety standards.

Requirements

• 3 months forklift experience (MUST BE DOCUMENTED ON APP OR RESUME)

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a production, warehouse, shipping, and refrigerated environment.
• Exposure to cold temperatures, moving equipment, and varying noise levels is expected.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business needs.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able and willing to lift, carry, push, and pull finished boxed products weighing between 5 and 80 pounds.
• Must be able and willing to lift and move wooden pallets weighing approximately 65 to 75 pounds.
• Must be able and willing to perform frequent heavy lifting throughout the shift.
• Must be able and willing to grasp and handle products using both hands while stacking and unstacking boxes and moving pallets.
• Must be able and willing to use a full-hand grip to safely operate a forklift and other equipment.
• Must be able and willing to stand for extended periods while operating equipment and walking on concrete floors.
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, squat, reach, and twist while performing job duties.
• Must be able and willing to use moderate force while performing essential job functions.
• Must be able and willing to work with pallet heights ranging from approximately 8 inches to 7 feet.
• Must be able and willing to work in refrigerated environments with temperatures ranging from approximately 28°F to 32°F.
• Must be able and willing to perform repetitive motions throughout the work shift.

Pay

$22.10/HR

• 6AM - 6PM or 6PM - 6AM
• All shifts available
