The LNA position at Menig Nursing Home, part of Gifford Retirement Community in Randolph Center, VT, offers sign-on and retention bonuses up to $8,000.00.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in coordination of nursing care for patients
• Serving as a patient advocate
• Assisting in providing patient and family teaching in a multidisciplinary health care setting
• Providing direct care to assigned patients in conformance with hospital policies, professional standards, physician orders, and approved plan of care
• Utilizing the nursing process in the provision of patient care
• Functioing within limits of Vermont Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Nurses, guided by Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice, hospital and nursing department policies and procedures

Requirements

• LNA from credited program
• Current LNA license in VTBLS certification (must be renewed every 2 years)
