LN Venues, Operations Manager - Fox Theater Riverside
About the role
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of facility operations and maintenance, including front of house operations, preventive maintenance, third party contracting, limited governmental relationships, staffing, and ongoing venue set-up and tear-down, Production, Box Office, and all other departments.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all outstanding tasks are handled either personally or through delegation to other staff members when appropriate.
- Develop and oversee overhead expense budgets for repairs and maintenance and venue supply expenses.
- Work with the General Manager to assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly operations budgets.
- Ensure optimum operating condition of all facility equipment, such as crowd control devices, HVAC, Elevators, and other facility maintenance.
- Perform routine housekeeping and grounds maintenance to ensure all facilities and exterior areas within the property lines remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Meet with city, venue maintenance dept and third-party contractors for any Repairs & maintenance projects.
- Ensure licensing and compliance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis are complete and certifications are up to date.
- Develop and maintain municipality relationships including city, police, fire, and other departments.
- Ensure all required governmental reports and files are completed.
- Implement and execute all Live Nation policies, procedures and programs and ensure that company standards are maintained.
- Aid in new hire onboarding and training for in-sourced positions as well as ensuring proper onboarding.
- Aid in recruiting, hiring, training and supervising part-time staff/supervisors of multiple departments including but not limited to: Security, Maintenance, Cleaning and Usher/Ticket Taker.
- Manage any and all training programs and ongoing development of event staff.
- Commit to providing a safe and enjoyable facility for guests and employees.
- Oversee and ensure the execution of all operating department compliance policies and procedures.
- Investigate and resolve guest related complaints.
- Maintain and monitor records of all incident reports and investigate/manages all pending cases, including interviewing staff or other witnesses and attending arbitration hearings when necessary.
- Effectively manage and approve all payroll for in-house departments.
- Oversee day of show and non-show operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven leadership with strong management and communications skills.
- Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management is required.
- Minimum two years’ experience as House/Operations Manager or a comparable role.
- Experience dealing with police and public officials.
- Empathy, patience, and sensitivity to the needs of individuals with disabilities.
- A natural interest in helping others and a heart for service.
- A passion for delivering engaging and memorable fan experiences.
- Able to manage multiple departments with a large number of staff- ideally experience managing Security, Ticket Takers and Ushers.
- Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Experience using Workday or time keeping systems is a plus.
Physical Demands/Working Environment
- Working environment is fast-paced and has a moderate to loud noise level.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to scale and climb all ladders and perform work at elevated heights while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Flexible Schedule (days/nights, weekends).
- Extended periods of prolonged standing, bending, stooping.

- The Expected Compensation For This Position Is $62,000.00 USD - $78,000.00 USD Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
